Nestled between Castel S. Angelo and Piazza Navona, for nearly 20 years, Silvia Mariotti manages his restaurant in Via del Governo Vecchio, accompanied by a whole female staff, in the hall as in the kitchen, with passionate pastry and waiter. It was 1999 and ended the century, and hence the name and inspiration, a tribute to the historical cafes that have welcomed the intellectual and cultural history of the twentieth century. Furnished with furniture from the time, the twentieth century is a cozy and cozy lounge with a careful selection of music, scent of freshly baked cakes and attention to detail. Traditional like an apple pie and a glass of wine, is the ideal place for a break from the city bustle, for a snack and a chat over a coffee. An intimate place for not to be seen. A wide choice of tea and infusions (over 50) accompanies homemade cakes and cakes that many make a good show at the buffet already from the morning (the room opens at 8am). Special breakfasts with scrambled eggs, sandwiches and toasts, juices and natural juices in addition to the classic cafe for the most traditional bar service (the venue, while being in the tourist area, is very popular with area residents - including VIPs - and by the Romans who They flock it to the winter weekends for the tea room). Lunch is a light and almost vegetarian menu, with fresh and original proposals (pasta, cereals, salads and soups) and a menu that varies with seasons. The evening closes with the aperitif, offering a select mix of organic wines, some cocktails and long drinks based on cold infusions and centrifuges of fruit and vegetables.
