The Museo Criminologico, unique in Italy for the specificity of the historical heritage, houses exhibits and documents reconstructing the history of Justice and the prison in Italy. Is divided into three sections: history of torture and death sentences-The nineteenth century: the birth of criminal anthropology and the penitentiary system-The twentieth century: the protagonists of the crime. The Museum adjoins the historic library in penitentiaries.
