The Botanical Garden of Rome currently has an extension of 12 hectares. Irrigation and some streams with aquatic crops are fed from above the Acqua Paola aqueduct. L'orto has training functions, environmental education and scientific research. It is used for exhibitions, courses, conferences and symposia and has almost one hundred thousand visitors annually. The Garden features more than 3000 plant species. You give here just a few notes on the Organization of the exhibition areas.
